Kenny Lumpkin
Business Development, Partner

A native to Western Massachusetts, Kenny was raised in Springfield and Easthampton. Kenny graduated from Emmanuel College in Boston with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Economics.
Kenny started his entrepreneurial career three months after graduating. With a vision to add convenience and affordability to the service industry, he developed his first start-up company, Room By Room Cleaning Services. Room by Room offered clients an on-demand platform to service their everyday residential and commercial cleaning needs. After Room by Room was acquired, Kenny pivoted into a role as a life science consultant before realizing entrepreneurship was his calling.
With a passion for business development, Kenny has since supported the development of several successful small businesses throughout Massachusetts and currently owns two profitable businesses: Dewey’s Jazz Lounge and New Foundations Realty Group.
When he’s not working, you can find Kenny spending time with his family, traveling, or being active on the social justice front.
Sophie Fish

Sophie grew up in North Attleboro, MA and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Communications & Media Studies from Emmanuel College in Boston. She is now a marketing consultant with 5+ years of experience as a content strategist, where she creates and implements digital marketing campaigns for nonprofits, small businesses, start-ups, and inspired entrepreneurs.
Sophie has agency experience where she specialized in providing solutions for female and BIPOC entrepreneurs and leadership teams operating lifestyle businesses and small nonprofit organizations.
With certifications in Inbound Marketing, SEO, and Social Media, Sophie understands that marketing is more than promoting or selling products and services. Marketing is an opportunity to help others achieve success by providing access to marketing ideas, resources, strategies, and outcomes.
In her spare time Sophie enjoys being with her family, spending time outside, and volunteering with local community service organizations.
Miyako Takashima

Born and raised in the diverse and vibrant San Francisco Bay Area, Miyako has always been inspired by the power of culture and community. Her desire to create a positive impact and empower diverse, underrepresented voices led her to American University in Washington, DC where she graduated with a B.A. in International Relations and Business Administration.
Currently, Miyako is a strategy consultant for biotech and pharmaceutical companies across early to mature stages. As a consultant, Miyako has experience across new product planning, corporate development, business process optimization, and go-to-market strategy.
As a Salvadoran-Japanese daughter of immigrants, Miyako’s dream is to empower underserved communities to achieve financial, health, and education equity. She believes working with BIPOC entrepreneurs and helping them succeed is critical to building an equitable society.
In her spare time, Miyako loves being outdoors and takes any opportunity she can to hike, run, and do yoga.
